Note of meeting held on 26 November 2007

The meeting was held to progress the decision of Scottish members to explore ways of how association members could assist the Salesian community in Easterhouse.

Fr Charles and Fr Jim outlined a range of activities and commitments which placed a great strain on their time and resources, including

• Parish Youth Group
• Summer Playscheme
• Parish Accounts
• Administration and organisation
• Funding applications and reports to funders
• Upkeep of buildings and gardens
• Fundraising activity

JC and JB agreed to circulate this note to members with a view to having a full discussion at the Don Bosco Mass on 27 January 2008 and identify practical assistance that members can offer.
