I was visiting the "Soldiers and Chiefs" exhibition at the National Museum in Dublin with a group of UN veterans and found a familiar face staring back at me............Martin Conroy in a photo I have seen many times but never in such a place of honour.

The photo sits in the centre of the Exhibition leaflet

Martin is on the left at the back.
What would he have thought about being being on display here?

Liam Nolan's father was a fellow soldier in Martin's group and recognised Martin immediately

A milestone was passed recently which provided another excuse for celebrations

Thanks for all the good wishes, electronic and otherwise and mainly thanks to Virginia for organising a terrific evening

Thanks to all who made the day in Petruskerk an unforgettable, perfect day

Many more photos in a slide show can be seen HERE

Mark (Honourable Son No. 2) and his wife, Alison are pictured below with Aisling and Nanny

Damian now lives in Amsterdam and we enjoyed our first visit there at half term

But we didn't stay in all the time, there was plenty to be seen in and around Amsterdam

And here some pics taken at Great -grandson Number 1: Harry's christening

And here's another winner, Cameron, also one and recently christened

Obviously snapped before Beckham missed!

I had a very enjoyable weekend in August renewing friendships with school friends I had not seen or contacted since we left the Salesian College in Shrigley over forty years ago. What a great bunch they were, I hope to see them all and more in August when we meet for the 75th anniversary.
